A Playful Apology: Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis Move Forward After On-Air Tagline Mix-up

Vice Ganda took to social media to reassure netizens that both she and Anne Curtis are doing well.

On a recent "It's Showtime" episode circulating online, a playful moment occurred where Vice jokingly prompted Anne to recite a tagline associated with a brand directly competing with Anne's endorsement. Upon realizing it was related to Vice's own endorsement, Anne promptly apologized on-air, emphasizing that it wasn't her intention.

Addressing the incident on X (formerly Twitter), Anne expressed that there's "no need for negative energy." She clarified, "Vice and I are fine," acknowledging that it was a lapse of judgment on both sides. Anne added, "At least we can move forward and be more careful."

Vice promptly responded to Anne's tweet, concurring that the situation was indeed a "lapse of judgment." She elaborated, stating, "It was our typical 'brandagulan' moment where she realized late that she unintentionally mentioned the tagline."

"I apologized to her, and we just laughed it off," Vice shared.

"It's Showtime" is broadcast on GTV at 11:30 a.m. every Monday to Saturday.
