Erich Gonzales: A Rising Star's Journey in Philippine Showbiz

 


Erika Chryselle Gonzales Gancayco-Lorenzo, born on September 20, 1990, known professionally as Erich Gonzales, is a prominent Filipino actress affiliated with ABS-CBN's Star Magic. Initiating her showbiz journey at the age of 14 through the reality talent search Star Circle Quest, Erich gained recognition for her standout performance in the lead role of "Katorse.

Following her triumph in Star Circle Quest, Erich adopted her mother's maiden name, Gonzales, as her last name. Balancing her blossoming entertainment career, she completed her high school education at ABS-CBN Distance Learning Center and pursued a major in mass communication at Trinity University of Asia for college.


Early Life:


Hailing from Cebu City and nurtured in Davao City, Erich is the youngest among her three siblings.


Career:

2004–2008: Star Circle Quest and Supporting Roles

Erich's career took flight when she emerged as the Grand Questor in the second season of Star Circle Quest in 2005. Subsequently, she joined ABS-CBN's Star Magic, marking the commencement of her journey in the entertainment industry. Erich became a familiar face through various shows and dramas, initially as a supporting actress. Notable roles include Dorina in the widely acclaimed TV series "Mga Anghel na Walang Langit," Waling-Waling in the teen-oriented show "Abt Ur Luv," and Ella in the drama series "Pieta." Her versatility shone through as she portrayed Camille in the drama series "Sana Maulit Muli," sharing the screen with Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu, evolving from an antagonist to a kind character throughout the series.
