Kris Aquino: The Queen of All Media's Impact and Legacy




 Kristina Bernadette Cojuangco Aquino, born on February 14, 1971, known professionally as Kris Aquino, is a prominent Filipino television host, actress, and producer. Renowned for her role as Princess Intan in the acclaimed film Crazy Rich Asians, she has received 42 PMPC Star Awards for Television, 10 Golden Screen Awards, and a FAMAS Award.


Referred to as the Philippines' "Queen of All Media," Aquino has hosted numerous talk shows and game shows, appeared in various films and television series, and is currently a notable figure in the realm of social media. As the youngest daughter of the late Senator Benigno Aquino Jr. and the late President Corazon Aquino, the 11th President of the Philippines, she hails from a family with a significant political legacy. Her brother, Benigno Aquino III, served as the 15th President of the Philippines from 2010 to 2016.


Aquino made her debut in the film industry with Pido Dida: Sabay Tayo and gained recognition for her roles in horror films such as Feng Shui and Sukob. The latter was the highest-grossing Filipino film in 2004 and 2006, respectively. Beyond her entertainment career, she is widely acknowledged as a leading celebrity product endorser and a philanthropist, advocating for causes such as lupus awareness, children's rights, LGBT rights, culture and art appreciation, freedom of expression, and democratic reforms.
