Arci Muñoz: A Symphony of Talents, Roles, and Civic Duty

 Arci Muñoz, born Ramona Cecilia Datuin Muñoz on January 12, 1989, is a multi-talented Filipino figure recognized as an actress, model, singer, dancer, and politician. Professionally known as Arci Muñoz, she serves as the vocalist for the Filipino rock band Philia and holds the rank of Sergeant in the Philippine Air Force.

Muñoz made her entry into the entertainment scene through the third season of the reality talent show StarStruck in 2005. Following her stint on StarStruck, she graced several television shows on GMA and TV5. In 2008, she proudly represented the Philippines in the Asia Super Model Contest's third annual edition.

Before ascending to leading lady status, Arci Muñoz portrayed various roles, including antagonists and cunning characters in productions like "Princess Charming" (2007), "Pati Ba Pintig ng Puso" (2007), "Zaido: Pulis Pangkalawakan" (2007), and "Maging Akin Ka Lamang" (2008).

Her breakthrough as a main antagonist came in 2009 when she played Donna Benitez in "Ngayon at Kailanman." Donna, the obsessive girlfriend of Edwin (played by JC de Vera), took on a range of sinister actions, including murder, kidnapping, and devious schemes.

In 2010, Muñoz assumed the role of Melanie Tecson, a recurring antagonist in "Langit sa Piling Mo.

Continuing her streak, she played the main antagonist Monique in "My Driver Sweet Lover" (2011), orchestrating cunning plans to win over Rocky (played by JC de Vera) from Gabrielle.

Her lead role journey commenced in 2012 with "Felina: Prinsesa ng mga Pusa.

Transitioning between TV5 and ABS-CBN, Muñoz became a prominent actress. Her band Philia performed at Pulp Summer Slam 13: "Til Death Do Us Part" on April 27, 2013.

In September 2014, Muñoz moved to ABS-CBN and took on a major role in "Pasion de Amor."[1][3] Later, she joined the cast of "Walang Hanggang Paalam" on Kapamilya Channel in July 2020.

Outside of entertainment, Muñoz ventured into politics. On September 30, 2021, she declared her candidacy for councilor in Cainta, Rizal, running under the Lakas-Christian Muslim Democrats' (Lakas-CMD) political party.

Adding to her diverse portfolio, on December 17, 2021, Muñoz made an appearance in the music video of TOMORO and Sean Kingston.
