Family Ties and Transitions: The Diverse Heritage of Loyzaga

 Diego Loyzagawas born in San Juan, Metro Manila, to actress Teresa Loyzaga and actor Cesar Montano. His family tree includes a half-brother, Joseph Dizon, from his mother's prior marriage to businessman Arnold Dizon. Additionally, he has three half-sisters, Angelina Cruz, Samantha Cruz, and Francheska Cruz, stemming from his father's second union with Sunshine Cruz. Furthermore, he has half-siblings named Angela Manhilot and Christian Angelo Manhilot from his father's initial marriage.

As a member of the Loyzaga lineage, he is the grandson of the esteemed Filipino basketball legend Carlos Loyzaga and the nephew of actress Bing Loyzaga. Notably, he is related to former Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) players Chito Loyzaga and Joey Loyzaga.
